Bay Area favorites Tanya Tomkins, cello, Eric Zivian, piano and Tom Stone, violin, perform a program of great romantic-era chamber music, joined by Artistic Directors Meena Bhasin and Owen Dalby for Schumann’s ebullient Piano Quintet to close out the season.
We’ll showcase several rare violins, a viola and a cello by Stradivari, Amati and Bergonzi made in 17th and 18th centuries—masters of the golden age of violinmaking—as well as a beautiful replica of a Beethoven-era fortepiano.
